Choosing the Right Path

Morning: 2 Kings 1–3
Evening: John 3:21–36

In 2 Kings 1–3, we see contrasting examples of leadership and trust in God. King Ahaziah seeks guidance from false gods and prophets, leading to downfall, while Elijah and Elisha stand as faithful servants of the Lord, interceding and delivering God’s word with boldness and truth.

In the evening passage, John 3:21–36, Jesus teaches about living in the light versus walking in darkness. Those who do truth come to the light, revealing a heart aligned with God’s will. The passage also emphasizes the supremacy of Jesus, the Son of God, and the necessity of believing in Him for eternal life.

These scriptures remind us that the paths we choose—whether to follow falsehood or truth—determine our spiritual destiny. Walking in God’s light means living with integrity, faith, and trust in His power.
