Reaping What We Sow and Enduring with Faith

Morning: Genesis 29-30
Evening: Matthew 10:1-23

God’s justice is always perfect and complete. In Genesis 29–30, Jacob, who had deceived his brother Esau, finds himself deceived by Laban. This reminds us of the timeless principle that “whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Galatians 6:7, KJV). At the same time, Matthew 10:1-23 records Jesus sending His disciples out with clear instructions: share the Gospel freely, expect rejection, and endure persecution. He tells them to be “wise as serpents, and harmless as doves” (Matthew 10:16, KJV), assuring them that those who endure to the end will be saved. These passages remind us of God’s justice and faithfulness while calling us to walk in wisdom, humility, and perseverance.
