The Power of God’s Word in Our Lives

In 2 Kings 4:5, we find the story of Elisha performing a miracle to fill empty vessels with oil, a powerful sign of God’s provision and abundance even in seemingly impossible situations. This reminds us that God’s power can transform our lack into overflowing blessings when we trust Him.
In the evening passage, John 3:1-21, Nicodemus comes to Jesus seeking understanding about new birth and eternal life. Jesus reveals the necessity of being “born again” through the Spirit and faith in the Son. God’s love is displayed in sending His Son so that “whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” This passage highlights that spiritual transformation and abundant life come from trusting God’s Word and His Son’s sacrifice.

A Prayer for Today
